Flood-blog

Hello kind readers. Here is a new one for you to view, and the first piece done specifically for the HMOCA show next summer. All this traveling for art is new to me. And to such lovely places! I only wish I could bring my family with me. At any rate this new painting is titled "Flood". -A take on the future of our fishing communities as the waters rise. I really wanted to include a persimmon tree (you know how I love to paint them!). Turns out the leaf is wonderfully medicinal- taken for a general strengthening, and in addition- water retention! So all to appropriate to this piece on our rising oceans.
