get ready! I am sharing a show with the amazing Valerie Savarie at Valkarie gallery in Belmar, Denver, CO. But THIS time we are each painting images based on the poems of 10 renowned poets. We are also going to be published in a book that will have all our paintings and the poems from the show. The show is September 23rd to October 18th. I cant fly out for the opening reception but I will be there for the poetry reading/second opening Oct.10! This will be a great one!! Here is the first painting based on a poem by Toni Lefton titled "Mystery of Grief". Oil on wood, apox. 3' by 20". I already mailed the first two off to the gallery and...uh..forgot to measure them. ha! At any rate- if you want  to read the poem you gotta wait for the book. That won't be ready until August... Dont you just adore this old gilt frame? I do! in other lovely news- I am scheduled to show at the Hawaiian Museum of Commentary Art in spring of 2016! I will be giving a lecture on zoomorphic art history followed by a fun art project.
