hey hey. Im sooo sorry I haven’t told you of the fantabulous events I’m participating in. I have four pieces up at Corricks on 4th street downtown Santa Rosa. We had a lovely turn out for first Friday in Feb.. And MARCH 7th- the next first Friday I have a show opening at Backstreet Gallery in the South of A St. area (SOFA district- in fact- across the street from my lovely deer lady on a sofa with trotters mural, that is one of the many sofas and figures parading across the long Art Alley Wall. She got a lovely write up). The opening is 5:30-8. Be there! I will! I’ll have my new piece- the five of wands, aka “Where Do You Put Your Fire” as well as at least three other really excellent paintings.

Yes I KNOW, I haven’t posted anything for quite some time. But, my very dear friend, who Ive known since I was 12, passed away last November, and I was blessed to have been beside her before, during, and after. God I miss her so much. And then there were birthdays and anniversaries and the Sonoma County Mycological Associations yearly 4 day (adult) camp where I teach mushroom watercolor journaling. Busy busy. And now my mom is in hospice/ comfort care. So if my newest paintings seem rather dark (or full of mushrooms) you know why. But it is transformation. The heart of transformation. So I’m right there in it.

I have painted but not yet posted the 8 of Cups and 9 of Swords. Next up- The King of Pentacles! Research progresses. Its going to be fabulous. I swear on my 7 pronged antler! At least in my head. till then my friends, please come to the opening first Friday in March. After that Ill be having an open studio the first two weekends in June through Art At The Source.
