Passionfruit

She is choosing her direction, her flight path. She reads and study’s to learn all her possibilities then stretches her wings and takes flight, experiencing enormous growth.

Passionfruit was painted for my Showcase show at Sebastopol Gallery, January 31-April 2nd. Opening Reception March 5th 2022, 4-7pm. A rediculously vigorous passionfruit vine grows over my studio, along the entire wall and over the roof. I wanted to paint a woman whose beautiful skin shared the hues of the passionfruit. Her visage is a conglomerate of about six different women.
